Dr. Sally Song is living out her dream!

     "When I purchased my Orthodontic practice from Dr. Jerome Alpart, I knew that I had finally made it!"  Dr. Song has come a long way from her humble beginnings in Queens, NY and South Korea.  She remembers the many years of hardship and financial struggles as her family attempted to overcome the obstacle of being first generation immigrants.  Despite these tribulations, she graduated at the top of her class from SUNY Bighamton and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.  She then went on to almost 3 years of specialty training.  Working two jobs to get through school and countless hours of studying have finally paid off!

     When you walk into Dr. Song's office you are immediately engulfed in a warm and friendly environment and that's exactly how you would describe her.  Not only is she caring and gentle but she's also a perfectionist.  And that's how she creates such beautiful smiles.  "I love my smile...Dr. Song and her staff are great!"  These are just a few comments made by her patients.  She says, "The most important thing is that I make my patients happy and that I'm helping people.  My life is a true success story because of this reason.  I don't ever want to lose sight of that."

 

Dr. Song completed her undergraduate degree at SUNY Binghamton. She graduated at the top of her class from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Song then completed her orthodontic residency at Case Western School of Dental Medicine. In 2000, Align Technology, the makers of Invisalign recruited her to share her orthodontic expertise to orthodontists both in the US and internationally. She has been in private practice for the last several years in Essex and Passaic Counties.

In September of 2004 Dr. Song acquired the practice of Jerry Alpart DDS, M.S.D., P.A. Dr. Alpart has spent 37 years in practice and is thrilled to remain in the office during the transition to Dr. Song. Dr. Alpart states "Dr. Song's interest is in practicing orthodontics in a caring and gentle manner, with the highest emphasis on state of the art technology and quality care. She is warm, dedicated, highly trained, experienced and worthy of your trust."

Originally from Queens, and Long Island, N.Y., Dr. Song now resides in Bergen County with her husband Gene and two young sons. She looks forward to meeting you and answering any questions or concerns you may have.
